Cypress wooden silo.

This beautiful cypress silo was taken down around 30-40 years ago. It is approximately 20′ tall to the bottom of the roof and between 10-12 feet in diameter. It is made out of cypress wood, the boards are 1 5/8″ thick, tongue and grooved, which are still in great shape. The bottom 1-2 feet show signs of rotting from when it was still standing, but they could be trimmed during reassembling, shortening the entire structure some. And then there were long doors that covered the gap running the height of the silo, shown in the second photograph that are missing but could be remade.
It has been protected under tin and tarp and is ready to find a new home and life. The roof and rings are in the third image.
Imagine setting this beautifully silo back up on your property and having one of the few remaining wooden silos of this style in the country!
